STEP 1: Tell us about your book.

Click on the button below to tell us about what you’d like. Do you want to just make one book, a couple or do you have a large back-catalogue?

If you want us to scan a printed book, read this guide first, or you want us to work with you on a new project then take a look here to find out more.

STEP 2: Send us your book

Send us your manuscript files and we’ll get right back to you with a confirmed price for the work.

First time customers will only be asked to pay 50% of the fee up front when you’re happy to proceed. For your next book, you only need to pay when it’s complete.

You can email the files to us or if they’re too large to email then you can use DropBox or WeTransfer. Click here for quick file transfer links.

If you have your own ISBN blocks, you may want to assign an ISBN to the ePUB and Kindle versions. We can supply ISBNs for you and you can even get away with no ISBN if you’re just publishing to Amazon. Read the guide to ISBNs in eBooks for more information.

If you are preparing your own files to send to us, then this handy formatting guide will help to keep things running smoothly.

Manuscript

Usually, we work from electronic documents but if you only have a printed copy from your old publisher or this is a brand new book from your notes and written manuscript then take a look at the guide to working from print editions and new projects.

We can take your files in a number of formats including.

  • InDesign (preferred format from publishers)
  • PDF
  • MS Word
  • RTF
  • Printed book
  • Original manuscript

If you’re sending an InDesign file, then please also include a PDF of the press-ready version as a formatting guide.

Cover

If you have a cover artwork that you’d like to use then you can send it as most file formats including:

  • JPG
  • GIF
  • PNG
  • PDF
  • PSD

If you don’t have a cover then ask about our cover design service.

STEP 3: Leave the rest to us!

Really, that’s all there is to it. Just relax while we make your eBook. We use our own bespoke tools to do most of the heavy lifting then carefully hand-finish and check each eBook that we make.

When we’re done, we’ll send you the finished files and when you’re happy, you can settle the remainder of the bill.

STEP 4: Aftercare

Yes, not something that you’ll often hear much about from eBook production houses – but that’s what makes Oxford eBooks stand out from the rest.

When we give you your files, you can get on with the business of publishing, marketing and selling your eBooks straight away. If you’re a publisher or accomplished author then that’s just peachy, but if you’re a first-time author or are a little unsure what to do next, then we’ll help you get things going. We’ve put together a few handy hints here to give you a head-start.

We truly take care and pride in every eBook that we make, that’s why we like to show them off in our book store – but if there’s ever a problem with your eBook, a mistake that we’ve made, then we will fix it for you at no cost no matter when it is found.

Sometimes little mistakes crop up in the original manuscript, and if we haven’t found it during conversion and you’d like us to fix it then sometimes we can do it for free if it’s small and not too long afterwards. If you’d like to make a more significant revision then get in touch and we can sort it out for you from just £54 incl vat.
